Why a clothing program and what is hot right now?

Does your business have a clothing program? Perhaps it should. Most businesses can benefit from having their staff in branded clothing, even if it is only for special occasions. A company clothing program can give your business a boost with added creditability, better control over your “first impression”, and help give you exposure without saying a word!

Here are some common business scenarios where branded clothing programs can make sense:

– Tired of fighting with your staff about what is appropriate office wear? A clothing program end that battle and can still allow some individual choice, but from owner selected styles.
– Want to make sure your outside team makes a great first impression? A clothing program takes care of that too! Catch Fire Marketing can access virtually any type/price point of clothing that if available…literally from Brooks Brothers’ shirts to t-shirts.
o Service personnel need work clothing- Dickies, Cornerstone, Carhartt- shirts, jackets, pants…and safety wear
o Sales teams need business or business casual attire- Brooks Brothers, Van Heusen, Eagle and many other brands
o Sales/office staffs need more casualwear- think polos, jackets and layering garments- Greg Norman, Reebok, Nike, Adidas, IZOD and more…
o Out on the golf course for business- we have perfect items for that too!
– Community events? Does your company participate in community events- walks, networking, or sponsor sports teams. Having your employees in company clothing will help you get more exposure and give your employees pride in their company- Think t-shirts, hoodies, jackets…
So hopefully you are convinced this is a worthwhile idea, the next step is to determine whether you are going to screen print or embroider (there are other options as well, but these two cover about 80%+ of what businesses do). Once you get to this point, it is probably a good idea to call or meet with your preferred clothing provider so that they can share the options, minimums, etc. based on the size of your order.
As for what is trending…patterned shirts are definitely the hot style right now. Though these can provide some challenges in getting your logo to standout. Layering items are another hot item now. These include both “sweater” weight fabrics and moisture wicking fabrics. Though styles, the latter are more for the “look” than warmth. There are always a number of “trendy” new colors too, varied to list out in this space.
